Meet the Doctors
Dr. Gary Berman graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1981. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a fellow of the International College of Dentists, a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and a PostDDS fellow. He is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies. He was named Michigan Dental Citizen of the Year in 2002 by the Michigan Dental Association and Dentist Citizen of the Year in 2006 by the Detroit District Dental Association. Dr. Berman is board certified in Forensic Dentistry and was part of the initially responding disaster team (DMORT) to both the World Trade Center and Hurricane Katrina disaster. He has also taught courses throughout the United States including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, South Carolina, Nebraska, Missouri, Colorado and Florida. He is a past president of the American Society of Forensic Odontology, a past president of the American Board of Forensic Odontology, a past Chair of the Odontology Section of the American Academy of Forensic Science and is the morgue operations chief for the state of Michigan's MiMORT disaster team. Dr. Berman has also co-authored text book chapters on Dental Identification and Disaster Victim Identification. Dr. Berman works in the Belleville location.
Dr. Kenneth Fox is a 1974 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. He is a PostDDS fellow. He is a member of the ADA, State and local dental societies, as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Fox believes a healthy mouth and a shining smile are signs of a successful visit to his dental office. Dr. Fox regularly takes continuing education classes so he can provide the best care for his patients and offer them the latest advances in dental treatment. Dr. Fox works in the Westland location.
Dr. Beth Rosenberg is a 1997 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. Dr. Rosenberg has started teaching full time at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School as of August 2023. She is only working in our Belleville office until she finishes all her invisalign and braces patients.
Dr. Maha Kassim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. Her primary goal is to get to know her patients and provide them with the highest standard of care. She believes in keeping the patient’s best interest in mind while striving to provide them with the most comfortable experience. Dr. Kassim is passionate about dentistry and believes in giving back to community. She remains dedicated to her continuing education and is a member of the Spear Club in Michigan. Outside of the dental office, Dr. Kassim enjoys travelling and biking with her three kids and husband. Dr. Kassim works in the Westland location.
Dr. Joshua Bussard is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He held many leadership positions during his studies and remains the only student from Indiana to serve as the National President of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association in Dentistry. After graduating from Indiana, Dr. Bussard matched with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program located on the Big Island of Hawaii where he completed advanced training in General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Michigan Dental Association and has worked as a general dentist in Hawaii, Indiana and Michigan. Additionally, his service and leadership within dentistry was recognized by nomination for fellowship in the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Both of these honorary dental organizations extend fellowship to fewer than 3% of the dental profession and Dr. Bussard will be inducted at their Annual Meetings in 2022. Dr. Bussard enjoys helping patients and works in the Belleville location.
Dr. Chrissy Panagos graduated from the University Of Detroit Mercy School Of Dentistry. Throughout the years, Dr. Panagos has held many leadership positions. She served as Vice President of her dental class and received the Leadership Recognition award for her services. During her time at UDM, she also participated in research and graduated top of her class in
endodontic procedures and received Dr. Ahmed Sarhan’s Certificate of Excellence in Endodontics award. She is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Michigan Dental Association (MDA). Dr. Panagos enjoys giving back to the community with volunteer activities such as Michigan’s Mission of Mercy, Team Smile, and others. Dr. Panagos is dedicated to providing efficient quality care that is patient centered. She is devoted to improving the oral health of her patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Panagos spends time with her friends, family, and her dog. She also loves to travel around the world. Dr. Panagos works at the Belleville location.
